Everyone reaches a point on their journey
where their rugged path comes to an overwhelming six-way junction.
Standing in the center of it all, circling around,
we stare inanely down into the deep abyss of each path,
which is outlined in nothing but impenetrable canopied darkness.
Anxiety and depression hover over this place like thick mountain fog.
With the sound of a deep, quick bass beat of our worried hearts
and the wandering eyes of a lost child
we search for a sign to guide us in the right direction.
Where we falter is that we assume there is only one right path
and all others will lead us to a lesser end result.
So here is where we make a decision.
A life choice.
To stand up, confident-proud, gazing directly
into the abyssal path that pulls our heart most fervently,
and run head strong forward, never stopping.
Because the truth and irony is that without knowing it,
you already know the way that you should go.
where their rugged path comes to an overwhelming six-way junction.

Welcome to Life.
